Our Team

The  E|E team is made up of its principals, regional affiliates and support staff who are experienced in and only work with companies in the professional "fee for service" sectors.  In addition to its core team, it's connections with  buyers and the financial private equity markets, it makes a well balanced group for managing all of a client's transition needs.

W. David Kimbrell

Founder & Principal

David Kimbrell founded Hall Kimbrell Environmental Services in 1982. It rapidly, became the nation's largest environmental service company, and was extremely profitable  due to a laser focus on business metrics and a keen understanding of what makes value in such a unique industry. It was made up of many smaller to mid-size environmental, engineering and architectural operations that were the leaders in their area. He won the coveted US Entrepreneur of the Year award for that unique design and has been interacting with environmental-engineering owners and private equity professionals since then - buying and selling scores of companies over that period.

Richard M. Goff

Richard (Dick) Goff, a CPA and FINRA licensed dealer/broker,  has spent his entire professional life in the world of private equity, mergers & acquisitions and transaction structuring. He has been involved in every facet of the services that E|E offers to both the Buy and Sell side for 30 years. Before joining the E|E team he focused on multi-unit service businesses in energy, environment, media & communications, health care services, franchise and chain restaurants where he and his firm have extensive experience. He brings professional transaction modeling and deal structure to the E|E team.

Gary Boyle

Gary Boyle is the team's M & A attorney. He has been practicing law for over 30 years and has specialized most of that time in Mergers & Acquisitions in both the Oil & Gas, AEEC and related industries. Gary's introduction to the environmental-engineering world came through the back door with M/A deals for pipeline and related companies that are not only one of the most complex in terms of environmental issues, but are heavily regulated by the EPA and OSHA.

Richard Hernandez

Richard Hernandez, the Operations and IT specialist on the senior team, has been working with the founder for over 30 years in building various multi-company enterprises. Over that time, he has developed a solid expertise in most all the services that are offered to the investment and banking community. He is particularly skilled in the very important aspect of acquisitions, the post closing transition, as well as an in depth knowledge of Corporate IT systems and operational throughput analysis.
